I have been a sought-after industry leader in visual facilitation and management consultancy for over eight years. I’m an expert at designing meeting process to engage people and align them towards action.
I founded Get The Picture in 2008, and have used visual meeting methods in meetings with speakers from the Whitehouse, top government officials, Fortune 500 executives and more.
My visual meeting strategies have helped organizations all around the world tackle a wide range of deep-rooted and cutting-edge issues.
Then suddenly, I found myself facing an unforeseen divorce. When I divorced, I made a BIG mistake. I blindly accepted advice and recommendations from my lawyers about which mediators to use and ended up spending a painful amount of time and money on mediation that was poorly run.
My mediations sucked.
As a facilitator with a critical eye for well-run meeting dialogue, I found myself wondering how a regulated process could be so lacking. My divorce came with many life changes, but the biggest one of all was deciding to become a mediator myself. I’ve blended my visual facilitation skills with mediation, to ensure no one has to go through what I did.
I became determined to create a high-quality divorce process.
I want you to have the greatest possible chance to come to agreement. I know how hard divorce is, and how frustrating it is to go through process after process without reaching an agreement.
That’s why I became a nationally certified Comprehensive Family Mediator, mentored with Victoria’s top family mediators and sought to find a better way to help couples communicate and gain insight when solving separation issues in mediation.
Divorce doesn’t have to be a long and unnecessarily painful process. You can solve the issues, move on… and come out stronger after it all.
Pioneering genuine resolutions through visual family mediation
During my personal experience with family mediators, I saw a significant lack of preparation, empathy and questions that would actually get to the root of the conflict. On top of that, agreements weren’t documented in the sessions.
My spouse and I understood things differently, and when we reviewed the write-up we received later, everything fell apart.
I don’t want that for you.
My goal is to change that. My unique approach to mediation blends the power of visual communication and certified mediation skills. This solution was developed specifically for people like you, who want to feel empowered to make the best decisions for yourself and for your family.
I’m here focused on one thing – serving you while you get through the most difficult time of your life.
Comfort is key
It’s important that you feel as comfortable as possible during the mediation process. In most circumstances, we can work face-to-face in my dedicated meeting space located at my home office in Victoria, BC. I can also come to your office, or in select circumstances, we can work virtually.
Let’s get this conversation started so we can begin exploring every possible path towards a positive outcome for you.
